Are we accepting submissions?

We are looking to publish new and experienced authors. We are looking for novel length works of a speculative nature with strong hints of fantasy and science fiction inherent in them. We are also looking for creative non-fiction. This could be a interesting perspective on your father’s last days, how you wooed your wife, or the back packing trip you took to every one of Unesco’s World Heritage Sites in Europe. Impress us with your creativity.

The process.

Submit a query to submissions@goldenacornpress.com. The query should include your contact info, your novel idea, and the first three chapters of your book (attached as a pdf file). If your query does not arrive in this format, we won’t look at it. No exceptions. Your book needs to be finished. We don’t want queries on books you are thinking about writing. Write it and then contact us. We will respond to all queries within six weeks.

Payment.

It depends on your book and the market we feel your book has. All of our books to date have had advances. We also pay royalties over the advance.
